Exclusion to Inclusion: The Great Equalizer

The rich and the poor have this in common:

the Lord is the maker of them all. ~ Proverbs 22:2

Doesn't it sometimes feel as if we forget that we are all God's children?

That no matter what you believe - in God, not in God, Christian, non-Christian, Republican, Democrat, Independent, Anarchist,...

God made you.

That no matter what you have - wealth, poverty...

God made you.

That wherever you live - city, country, suburbs, desert, island, mountains...

God made you.

AND....

That no matter what THEY believe - in God, not in God, Christian, non-Christian, Republican, Democrat, Independent, Anarchist...

God made them.

That no matter what THEY have - wealth, poverty...

God made them.

That wherever THEY live - city, country, suburbs, desert, island, mountains...

God made them

- How does this verse impact your daily life?

- Who are the people you have a hard time seeing as children of God?

Holy One, lead me, push me, pull me, prompt me along this journey of faith. Keep my footsteps sure and my eyes fixed on the places you would send me. Amen
