Friday Media Mix

For Luther, to hold on to anger was as deadly as literally killing someone. And we certainly live in a time and place where anger seems to abound. One of the ways as Christians we can deal with our anger is through contemplative prayer, or centering prayer. These are types of Christian Meditation.

If you've never done meditation before, this short two-minute one is a great place to start. Do this for a few days in a row and then look for other centerting or contemplative prayers that last a little longer. If you can eventually get to 20 minutes a day, you will notice a sharp and very positive change in your reaction and emotions.
