Praise

May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, Selah that your way may be known upon earth, your saving power among all nations. Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you.

Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you judge the peoples with equity and guide the nations upon earth. Selah Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you.

The earth has yielded its increase; God, our God, has blessed us. May God continue to bless us; let all the ends of the earth revere him. ~ Psalm 67

There are lots of "praise" Psalms. It makes me wonder how it is that I praise God?

How do you praise God?

Certainly we say we praise God, and like the Psalmist we might say why we praise God. We might name all the ways in which God is deserving of our praise.

But are there other ways to praise? Ways that go beyond talk?

Are there full-bodied ways of praise?

Praising by dancing or singing?

Praising by serving or helping?

Praising by stretching and growing?

Praising by learning and teaching?

Praising by trying and even failing?

What are the ways you praise God?

Can you praise God right now?

Here, God...I'm about to praise you now......
